True Blood on HBO

MANILA, Philippines - Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO series True Blood kicks off its 12-episode third season tonight at 9 on HBO/HBO/HD.

It has five Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series for the coming 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

In the new season, Sookie Stackhouse begins her frantic search for the whereabouts of vampire boyfriend Bill Compton, who mysteriously disappears after proposing to her in a romantic date. Meanwhile, the townspeople of Bon Temps face new threats that make their previous problems seem tame.
