Megaworld turning over 1k residential units

Iris Gonzales - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Megaworld Corp. will turn over 1,000 residential units with total sales value of P9 billion.

The number of units to be turned over this year is higher than the 800 units delivered in 2016.

These projects include the 30-storey Paseo Heights and 50-storey Three Central, which are located in Salcedo Village in the Makati financial district.

“We have started the turnover process middle of this year and our goal is to complete this at the soonest possible time,” said Eugene Em Lozano, first vice president for sales and marketing at Megaworld.

Last year, the company also turned over 800 residential units in Makati CBD from its Two Central and Greenbelt Hamilton Tower 1 projects.

Four more residential towers are currently under construction, namely: Salcedo Skysuites, San Antonio Residence, Greenbelt Hamilton Tower 2 and The Ellis.

At present, the Megaworld Group, which also includes subsidiary Empire East Land Holdings Inc., has 30 buildings all over Makati City.

“We continue to look for more opportunities to build more residential properties within Makati CBD because there is still high demand. Rental rates remain high as well,” Lozano said.

Megaworld now has around 4,000 residential units that have already been turned over from its various condominium projects within Makati CBD.

To date, the company has introduced 22 townships and integrated lifestyle communities.
