MANILA, Philippines - In the past seven years since Precy Bacalangco moved into her two-bedroom unit in East Ortigas Mansions in Pasig City, this DMCI Homes community has become more than a home for herself. “I like to entertain. Most of the time, my friends are here and they enjoy the swimming pool and karaoke room,” says Bacalangco.

Bacalangco never regretted giving up her rented apartment in 2005 in favor of a place she eventually owned.

“I think I made the right choice in having my own place at East Ortigas Mansions,” she proudly says. “I have not altered anything here since I moved in. That was seven years ago, but I never had problems here in my unit. What I am changing is just the accessories and furniture I’ve brought in”.

Seeing East Ortigas Mansions in a flyer given to her at a mall in 2005 made her drop early condo options in Taguig and Makati. The building layout and location near her then office in Ortigas Center were enough to convince her to buy a unit there.
