All About Cats

On May 10 (Saturday), RWM together with The International Cat Association (TICA) bring cat-lovers and their adorable pets together for a fun-filled day dubbed All About Cats. Set to be held at The Plaza in Newport Mall, the event features fun feline activities including an all-breed cat show as well as a special appearance by Mieshelle Nagelschneider, better known as The Cat Whisperer.

Having appeared in countless radio and TV programs, including The Today Show, National Geographic Channel (Nat Geo Wild), and Animal Planet, Nagelschneider visits the country to share her passion and insights on cat behavior from 11AM to 7PM.

The event also features valuable talks on ‘Responsible Cat Care & Breeding Basics’ at 4PM, ‘Cat Care & Nutrition’ at 4:30PM, Nagelschneider’s ‘Cat Behavior Talk’ at 5PM, and awarding of prizes and raffle at 6PM.

Mother’s Day Celebration

On May 11 (Sunday), RWM celebrates Mother’s Day with an array of superb offerings for moms everywhere. The day-long Mom’s Day affair starts with an 11AM High Mass at the Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) officiated by Bishop Leopoldo S. Tumulak, D.D. of the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, and to be concelebrated by Fr. Peter Coching of Christ the King Church.

Families can sample a mouthwatering Cantonese cuisine feast at Passion with its all-you-can-eat lunch buffet expertly prepared by Chinese executive Chef David Chu Wai Fung. While French-themed Impressions also offers its Sunday Brunch buffet from 11am until 3pm featuring gourmet dishes by no less than Impression’s executive chef Cyrille Soenen.

At 4PM, Fox International Channel holds its second annual Mother’s Day “FIC Loves Moms” treat for the ladies for a weekend of relaxing activities at The Plaza in Newport Mall with various booths to pamper moms plus some exciting entertainment.
