Global FC still chasing elusive first triumph in AFC Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Global FC continues its search for its first-ever Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup win when it hosts Yadanarbon of Myanmar on April 15 at the new Philippine Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan.

The Filipino club dropped a 0-2 setback to fellow AFC Cup debutant Yadanarbon last month in Mandalay to finish the first half of Group G action at fourth with a point on a draw and two losses.

“We maybe lost our discipline (in the previous game against Yadanarbon) and this will be a good lesson for the next game,” said Global coach Dan Padernal after their March 18 away match.
