Revision of Laguna ballots halted

MANILA, Philippines - The Second Division of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has stopped the revision of ballots from Laguna in connection with the gubernatorial race there in May 2010.

In an order, Comelec Commissioner Lucenito Tagle, head of the Second Division, granted the motion filed by losing Laguna gubernatorial bet Dennis Lazaro withdrawing his electoral protest against proclaimed governor Emilio Ramon Ejercito.
