Havas PR Agatep wins Emirates account
MANILA, Philippines - Emirates, listed as the world’s best airline in the 2013 ratings published by UK-based travel consultancy SkyTrax, has chosen Havas PR Agatep as its public relations agency in the Philippines.
Emirates has been operating Dubai-Manila flights since 1990 and has since increased its frequency to three flights daily, non-stop service. It has a rapidly expanding global network that now totals 134 destinations in 76 countries on six continents.
Havas PR Agatep is expected to position Emirates as the leading world-class airline in the Philippines and create awareness of the airline’s new route to Clark International Airport beginning this October.
The agency will also seek to generate interest for, and entice Filipinos to avail themselves of, Emirates’ other services, including Skywards, SkyCargo, and Destination and Leisure Management (Arabian Adventures, Emirates Holidays).
Charlie Agatep, president and CEO of Havas PR Agatep, said the Emirates account will be front-serviced by senior PR consultant Johanna Abdulkadil, supported by Havas PR group account director Michelle Bayhon and managing director Audrey General.
