LG expands presence

-

MANILA, Philippines - “As the worldwide brand depicting the face of consumers on its logo, LG Electronics loves to listen to its patrons,” said Raymond Hernandez, corporate marketing head of LG Electronics Philippines. “Consumers are the beginning and end of everything we do.”

The success of LG is based on continuous investments and research, which provides the company with better insights about their consumers. “These become some of our most valuable assets, enabling us to create powerful products that respond to the diversifying needs of our consumers and achieve market leadership,” added Hernandez.

To make products, which fuse stylish designs and smart technology together, more accessible to consumers, LG Electronics, the global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics and mobile communication, rolled out six new centers this year, expanding its presence across the country.

The LG concept shop, the company’s first in the Philippines, opened in Robinsons Galleria as a one-stop shop for gadgets, home entertainment, and HealthPlus appliances, all of which cater to consumer’s needs in design, innovation, energy conservation, and health preservation. Shopping for gadgets and appliances is made easier as each product has been made to blend seamlessly into the consumer’s home and lifestyle.

Moreover, three concept shops exclusively for LG mobile phones now operate in the Cyberzone areas of SM Megamall and SM North EDSA Annex in Metro Manila and SM Bacolod in Visayas. At LG Mobile concept stores, expect a wide array of stylish and sophisticated handsets, from the most affordable full touch screen LG Cookie and first S-Class touch screen Arena to the world’s first transparent design phone GD900 Crystal and new BL40 Chocolate, and take the firsthand look at upcoming mobile handsets.

To reach more uncompromising technology seekers and to drive further growth in more areas, LG opened a sales and service in Cebu City serving the Visayas, and a dedicated service center in Dagupan covering Northern Luzon. LG’s regional presence offers premium customer service and provides support to partner dealers and authorized service centers. These centers, managed by highly trained experts, are also equipped to fix a wide range of LG products, including televisions, home appliances, air conditioning units, and mobile handsets.

Unique in the Philippines, the state-of-the-art LG Air Conditioning Academy was also put up in Pasig City to focus on generating and fostering experts in residential and commercial air conditioning products. It has the capability to train hundreds of engineers, contractors, and technicians each month.

“Our new infrastructures allow us to engage with and serve more consumers with varying needs in various areas in the country,” said Hernandez. “In line with our vision of growth here in the Philippines, expect to see more exciting things lined up for both our business partners and consumers in 2010.” These efforts will help LG create new consumer value and achieve a higher level of consumer satisfaction. Life is good with LG.
