MANILA, Philippines - Painter–teacher Fernando B. Sena brings the joy of painting to children and adults alike. He has announced the schedule of his 2011 Summer Art Workshops: Sundays, MAB Hall, Philippine Heart Center, East Avenue, Quezon City, 9 to 11:30 a.m. (starting April 10); Tuesdays, UP Jorge Vargas Museum, Diliman, Quezon City, 9– 11:30 a.m. and 2:30–5 p.m. ( starting April 5); Wednesdays, Neo – Vision School, 82 Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City, 9 to 11:30 a.m. (starting April 6); Wednesdays, Tropical Hut Restaurant, Panay Avenue, near National Book Store, Quezon City, 2:30–5 p.m. (starting April 6); Fridays, Willow Tree Learning Center, 9– 11:30 a.m., 73 Catalina St., Brgy St. Peter, Quezon City (starting April 1) ; Saturdays, Triumph Bldg. , Between Hi–Top Supermarket and Shell Gas Station, 9 to 11:30 a.m. (starting April 9).

Lessons include drawing and painting still life, landscape, portrait, and figure.

Fernando Sena, former faculty member of the UE and UP College of Fine Arts, holds the singular distinction of having awakened hundreds of children and adults to the joys and challenges of art for several decades now.
