Go Negosyo brings mentorship to Batangas
PILIPINAS: NOW IS OUR TIME - Joey Concepcion (The Philippine Star) - July 9, 2018 - 12:00am

Last June 30, Go Negosyo once again brought mentorship to more than 200 aspiring entrepreneurs in SM City Lipa, Batangas. After a successful rolling out in SM Mall of Asia and SM City Calamba, Mentor Me on Wheels aimed in its third stop to continue helping aspiring and start-up entrepreneurs in reaching their dream business by providing them with insights and advice on managing their businesses.

Go Negosyo Adviser on Agripreneurship Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar with founder of Gawad Kalinga Tony Meloto, CEO of CDO Foodsphere Inc. Corazon Dayro Ong, PCC I president Ma. Alegria Limjoco and other mentors Tess Ngan Tian, Josie Costales, Alex Flores, Ramon Buyson, Pabs Villegas, Mat Maderazo and Babie Atanacio.

Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ma. Alegria S. Limjoco, CDO Foodsphere Inc. founder Corazon Ong, Gawad Kalinga founder Antonio Meloto, and Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific Company of Manila, Inc. chairman Jose P. Leviste Jr. led the 30-minute mentoring session, together with over 60 entrepreneur-mentors.

Go Negosyo mentors with De La Salle students who received a certificate for volunteering in the MMOW program.

MMOW is the biggest one-on-one mentoring session that gives free advice and supplemental knowledge in entrepreneurial mind-setting and marketing.

As I always say, mentorship is key in empowering our MSMEs to achieve prosperity in their businesses by equipping them with technical and practical knowhow. All the mentors passionately offer their expertise to help aspiring entrepreneurs scale up.

Aspiring and start-up entrepreneurs gather for the one-on-one mentoring session in SM Lipa.

Together with the mentors, I will continue to bring mentorship to every Filipino, especially those start-up entrepreneurs from distant areas to help them grow and be key players in the business industry.
