Joel Cruz, also known as the “Lord of Scents,” was recently fêted at a jovial party for his 53rd birthday.
The party, held at the Aficionado Perfumes and Personal Care president and CEO’s elegantly decorated residence at the Pearl of the Orient Tower in Ermita, Manila, saw guests from the diplomatic, political, business, entertainment and social circles.

This year’s celebration was a departure from his usually spectacular parties as Joel opted for a quieter evening amidst a sumptuous dinner, delightful song numbers and laid-back conversations. He looked back at the blessings of the past year with so much gratitude and fondness.
