GMA’s SONA gown:Filipiniana with a twist

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will be wearing a Filipiniana gown created by designer Ito Curata when she delivers her State of the Nation Address (SONA) tomorrow.
Incorporating Asian silk and hand-beaded lace in very deep coral material, the gown highlights the panuelo without the use of the traditional butterfly sleeves.
Completing the ensemble is a three-medallion tambourine necklace and earring set fashioned by Curata.
