Kim Woo Bin, Bae Suzy reuniting after 8 years for new show by 'The Glory' writer
MANILA, Philippines — Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy are set to star in a new Netflix series, nearly a decade after they worked together on "Uncontrollably Fond."
The upcoming project with the working title "All the Love You Wish For" will be helmed by "Extreme Job" director Lee Byeong-heon on a script by Kim Eun-sook, best known for writing "Descendants of the Sun," "The King: Eternal Monarch," and most recently, "The Glory."
The series will follow a genie (Woo-bin) reawakening after a thousand years and his new impassive master (Suzy) as conflicts rise over the typical three wishes he will grant.
Also in the cast are Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Steve Sang-hyun, Ko Kyu-phil, and Lee Zoo-young.

In confirming the project's development, Netflix released photos of the cast participating in a table read session.
Since appearing in 2016's "Uncontrollably Fond," Suzy went on to star in more hit series including "While You Were Sleeping," "Vagabond," "Start-Up," "Anna," and most recently "Doona!"
"Uncontrollably Fond" was Woo-bin's first ever lead role in a series and followed it up with the film "Master" the same year. But in 2017, he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer and took a brief hiatus, even getting exempted from military service.
After completing treatment, Woo-bin returned to acting for the two-part film "Alienoid," the show "Our Blues," and last year headlined Netflix's "Black Knight."
