Toni Fowler faces arrest for alleged cybercrime violation
MANILA, Philippines — Content creator Toni Fowler is set to post bail after a Pasay court released an order for her arrest in relation to a cybercrime charge over her music video.
The Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 108 has found that the social media personality breached the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, a court official said Fowler is set to post bail this Friday afternoon.
In September 2023, the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBP) filed a complaint against Fowler over her alleged "obscene" music videos.
Fowler gained attention when her controversial music video "MPL" was released in February last year.
