LizQuen pays respects to ‘Bangkay’ actor
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya love team LizQuen, composed of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, gave their respects to the late actor Nonong de Andres, most popularly known as “Bangkay” for portraying angel of death and other iconic horror characters in Filipino movies.
Since Nonong was LizQuen’s co-actor in their hit teleserye “Forevermore,” the rumored couple turned to their Instagram accounts to say their condolences to the family of the horror-comedy actor.
“Paalam tito bangks we lost good one today goodbye kiss from xander,” Enrique wrote.
“Tito Bangky I wish I could’ve hugged you one last time. May you rest in peace. I love you! We all love you!” Liza wrote.
“Bangkay” was recently found dead in a beach resort in Plaridel, Quezon. He was 71.
Nonong’s death was announced by his nephew, Powie Capino, via a Facebook post.
“Please pray for the eternal soul of my Tito Nonong who passed away early this morning,” Powie wrote.
