Former actress happy as a private citizen

MANILA, Philippines - Amanda Amores (Mrs. Janet Yu in real life) doesn’t have any regrets having turned her back on showbiz in favor of marriage.

“I’m happy as a private citizen,” says Amanda, married to Richard Yu who was recently elected chairman of Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City. “I have a happy family and I can’t ask for anything more.”

The couple recently spent a “thanksgiving holiday” in London with their daughters Michelle China (Rotary Club educational director) and Kia.
