Phil Younghusband: I’m not dating KC Concepcion

MANILA, Philippines – Football player Phil Younghusband denies rumors that he is dating actress KC Concepcion, just a few weeks after his breakup with Angel Locsin.

In his official Twitter account on Thursday, December 5, the Philippine football team member said, in response to a tweet, that there is no truth to the news that he is seeing the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

“No truth to the rumour. I only met KC once and I was with angel for a buzz interview a long time ago,” Phil said.

Angel responded to the rumor during the grand launch of Folded and Hung and Meg Magazine’s Marvel Kawaii collection last November 27.

“Bilang ex-girlfriend, parang ang bilis pero hindi naman sure kung totoo man or hindi. Buhay naman nila yun and labas na ako dun,” Angel told Philstar.com and other members of the press.

In 2011, Phil admitted in an interview that he has a crush on Angel and KC—weeks before his Valentine’s Day date Twitter invitation to Angel and just days before Piolo Pascual admitted his relationship with KC.

KC has remained single since her breakup with Piolo in November 2011, although she is currently being linked to Paulo Avelino.

Angel said love isn’t one of her top priorities right now. “Kapag dumating, darating. Pero hindi ako naghahanap,” she said.
