NBA star Chandler Parsons confirms date with KC Concepcion

MANILA, Philippines – Thanks to his good looks that he backs with a solid game, the Houston Rockets' Chandler Parsons is a hit to Filipino girls.

Interestingly, Parsons had a mutual admiration to Filipinas.

"They're beautiful, warm and everybody is so nice," said the 24-year-old Parsons, who will start for the second straight year for the Rockets, right after their practice at the MOA Arena in Pasay City the day before they take on the Indiana Pacers in a pre-season game.

Parson's first Filipina acquaintance, however, happens to be pretty and popular showbiz personality KC Concepcion whom the former admitted he had dated Tuesday night.

"We've dated, had dinner last night (Tuesday)," said Parsons referring to Concepcion.

Concepcion was first linked to Parson when the two exchanged messages on Twitter last May.

It was Kris Aquino in an episode of her morning show "Kris TV" who revealed Concepcion was exchanging messages on the social networking site.

"A mutual friend introduced us and we talked on Twitter months back. She's a great girl, had a great time last night," he said.
