European Wines & Liquor opens

MANILA, Philippines - Just in time for last-minute shopping, the European Wines & Liquor (wholesaler and retailer) opened a few days before Christmas Day (at #6 Otis 888 Residences, Paz M. Guanzon St., Paco, Manila), so named because it sells all European products (not only wines). A wine-tasting was held from Dec. 21 to 24. On sale are imported beers, whiskey, champagne, brandy, bourbon, single malt and other spirits (plus cigarettes). Major brands to choose from: Hennessy, Martell, Johnnie Walker, Jack Daniels, Chivas, Moet and Chandon, Fundador, Alfonso and many others.  (For inquiries, call 216-9052 or 586-7670.
