Life and Style goes to Malaysia

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - If you got a thrill touring Cebu in last weeks’ special presentation of Life and Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes, you will have a more interesting and exciting feature this week.

Host-producer Ricky Reyes presents the show’s second summer special treat on location to Malaysia. None other than the Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Ed Malaya acted as our guide to the breathtaking locale tagged as tourists’ haven. Malaya, likewise, paved the way for interviews with Filipinos who made it big in that country.

You will meet two Pinays who will share their secrets to success such as concert producer Charina Vergara who brings our local entertainers abroad and Tess Dizon who owns a forwarding business with OFWs who send money and packages to their love ones in the RP as clientele.

Ricky will have the chance to interview a Filipina married to a member of the Royal Family who opens her palatial home to the beauty guru and shows all her expensive collections of Birkin and Hermes bags.

Just like the salon czar, we will be happy and proud for our countrymen and women who prove that anywhere they maybe or whatever fields they induldge in, “Magaling talaga ang Pinoy.”

“They are amazing and continue to put the country in the map that dispels as well as the knowledge that Pinoys are only popular for being domestic helpers and geniuses in the fields of music and sports like boxing and bowling,” says Ricky.

Life and Style airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. on GMA News TV-11 produced by ScriptoVision.
