MANILA, Philippines - Returning for its eighth season, the innovative and acclaimed drama, 24 premieres on Jack TV tonight, at 7. Having been nominated for a total of 68 Emmy awards in 2006, 24 won the coveted Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series while series star Kiefer Sutherland took home the Outstanding Lead Actor Award.

Don’t miss the final season of 24 set 18 months after Season 7 where we begin a new day at 4 p.m. in New York City. Jack (Sutherland) is about to leave for Los Angeles with his daughter Kim and her family when he is brought in to uncover a Russian plot to assassinate an Islamic leader. When Jack discovers the identity of the true masterminds behind the plot is he willing to bring the culprits to justice even at the cost of a third world war?

Backed by the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU), a government agency tasked to prevent acts of terrorism against the US, Jack knows that the razor-sharp head honcho Brian Hastings (Mykelti Williamson) and his team made up of quirky Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst Dana Walsh (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst Arlo Glass (John Boyd), are ready to help him in times of trouble.

Also part of the ensemble cast is Freddie Prinze Jr. as field operations director Cole Ortiz and Annie Wersching as Renee Walker, a former FBI special agent who comes out of retirement to go undercover for one last mission.

24 Season 8 promises to unite the show’s distinctive and trend-setting format with gripping new elements such as a new setting, new threats and new cast members. With each episode covering one hour of real time, follow Jack through another astonishing day.
