Mr. World-Philippines leaves for Seoul

MANILA, Philippines - 2010 Mr. World-Philippines Alvin de Joya, the 23-year-old 6’1” BS Nursing from Cauayan City, left for Seoul on March 12 to compete with 80 other candidates in the Mr. World contest to be held on March 27.

The contest started in 1996 and no Filipino has made it even to the semi-finals. Will Alvin be ‘it’? — Reported by Funfare’s ‘beauty experts’ Felix Manuel, Joey Cezeare, Gery Yumping and Francis Calubaquib
