Pete Roa, 67

Pete Roa, husband of Boots Anson-Roa (photo), died at 4:30 yesterday afternoon at the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City where he was brought three days ago. He was 67.

Wheelchair-bound for several years after a stroke, Pete also suffered from various complications of diabetes, emphysema and stomach cancer.

He was a popular radio/TV host during the ’50s and ’60s.

His remains will lie at the Arlington Funeral Homes on Araneta Ave., Quezon City for three days and will be cremated.
