Fuji Xerox beefs up continuous feed digital print line with ‘495’

Fuji Xerox has strengthened its industry-leading continuous feed digital printing line with the Fuji Xerox 495 Continuous Feed, equipped with new Flash fusing technology inside a single-sized Duplex printer.

It has a 500 page-per-minute print speed Duplex letter, and is equipped with Flash fusing technology that enables a variety of stock applications and advanced level of print quality at this speed.

The Fuji Xerox 495 Continuous Feed is the first product in terms of integration of Flash fusing and Xerox controller technology in the Asia-Pacific.

In 2002, Fuji Xerox merged Fujitsu prin-ting systems that are known for Continuous Feed Printer manu-facture with original and unique Flash fusing technology.

Following this acquisition, Fuji Xerox acquired resources to develop its continuous feed printer, leading to a combination of its brand-new continuous feed printing engine and existing controller.

The company has built a leadership position in the market by offering the DocuPrint Continuous Feed series and Cut sheet DocuPrint Series.

The Fuji Xerox 495 Continuous Feed series adds to the Fuji Xerox’s line of digital continuous production presses, providing expanded choices in speed, reliability, and image quality to capture the transactional market.
