DMCI Homes makes home buying easier

MANILA, Philippines - Choosing a home to buy can be a painstaking task with the many property developers out there offering a variety of house models. But homebuyers can narrow down their options to a few developers’ offerings. For bank account officer Joy Moselina, a single developer was enough: DMCI Homes. Moselina did not shop around when she decided to buy her own condo unit in 2009 because DMCI Homes’ extensive portfolio had what she was looking for. In fact, she needed only to see the plans to make a choice.

“I really liked the style and functionality of the DMCI Homes condominiums,” said Moselina. “Compared to the condos of other developers, those of DMCI Homes have character.”

“I liked the unit design. It is homey, not cramped and refreshing,” she says.

She initially picked East Raya Gardens.

“I live in Antipolo and drive everyday to work in Makati. If I live in Pasig, I can cut my travel time by half because it is closer to Makati,” Moselina explained.

But the price of the ready-for-occupancy (RFO) units in 2009 could not fit into her budget at that time, so she eventually settled for a two-bedroom unit at Siena Park Residences in Bicutan, Parañaque City. The unit at Lilac, one of the 11 medium-rise buildings of the condo complex, is near her workplace, she can afford it and the community looks like a hotel.

Siena Park Residences along the West Service Road in Brgy. Sun Valley is a short distance to the South Luzon Expressway, where Moselina can reach Makati City faster either via the C-5 Road or the Skyway.

When she first visited Siena Park Residences last year, Moselina noticed the quiet atmosphere inside the community compared to the noisy and congested area outside it.

“It was very relaxing and also beautiful because of the trees and landscaping,” she says.

She also saw the first completed building and her still unfinished unit during the visit. The mid-rise buildings against appealed to her because they look more like a home than a high-rise condo. The resort-themed community also makes the buildings look like hotels. 

Moselina’s unit was already turned over to her and she plans to move in next year after the interior design is finished.
