Ayala Land launches Serendra
May 22, 2004 | 12:00am
Modern Filipino families can now enjoy the convenience and comfort of suburban living in the city thanks to real estate conglomerate Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) and Community Innovations Inc. (CII) for creating Serendra, a sprawling residential project suited within the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
In a three-day launch held at the Serendra Sales Pavilion, ALI and CII officials introduced the development to clients, well-wishers, friends and members of the media. The ALI officials included Fernando Zobel de Ayala, ALI chairman; Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, vice chairman; Francisco Licuanan III, president; Jaime Ayala, executive vice president; and Angela de Villa-Lacson, senior vice president.
"We saw the need to develop Serendra because modern families would rather live in community with lots of open space," said Lacson.
However, she added that "many people cant afford to live in current residential developments that provide these benefits because its either too far from their place of work or the cost is way beyond their means." With Serendra, this difficulty is resolved.
Serendra is a major landmark in the history of ALIs growth and the realization of the companys thrust for 2004, which is innovation, according to Licuanan.
"Its a highly innovative product that offers suburban living in the city at a reasonable price," noted Licuanan. Serendra has a variety of units fit for a broad spectrum of the market.
"Prices range from P2.5 million to P9 million for the budget-conscious, and from six million to P18 million for the upscale market. If you cant afford a big unit, you can own a smaller one, but still get to enjoy the same set of benefits: convenience, security and nature," Lacson explained.
Poetry, guitar and song performances livened up the three-evening affair.
Capping the event was a guided tour at the Sales Pavilion, including the model units with the interior designers on hand to explain the design intent. The tour gave the guests an actual feel of what it is to live in Serendra.
