SosaJB Property Management’s CEO is bouncing at 60

MANILA, Philippines – A grand and fun night of music, dancing and games marked the 60th birthday of the still lively SosaJB Property Management Corporation president and chief executive officer Jeffrey R. Sosa.

 

The night was indeed grand as it was held Monday at the poolside tent of the five-star Dusit Thani Hotel Manila in Makati City. Great food was served and a live band filled the house with trip-down-the-memory-lane music.

But the celebration is just like that of a typical 60-year-old birthday celebrant—simple but meaningful. 

 

Family members, friends and guests from the business sector including executives from large corporations and members of the Rotary Club of Makati and Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry joined the celebration.

Heartfelt messages from some of his loved ones and close friends were also said. 

 

His birthday cake is a simple three-layer with just a single candle. And just like any birthday celebrant, with his family members gathered around him, he made his sincere birthday wish before blowing the candle.

Sosa, who is Lipa-born, is a father to three daughters, two of whom are helping him manage the family business. He attended Far Eastern University for a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration in the University of the East. 

 

He kick-started his career in the property management sphere at First Pacific Davies Property Management Inc. as an executive assistant and planning officer in 1989. He became the deputy general manager after two years then served as the director and chief operating officer from 1995 to 1998.

With over two decades of experience and having led a couple more companies in the same industry, Sosa now heads SosaJB Property Management Corporation (SPMC) which is one of the most sought property management company in the Philippines today.

Sosa said in a statement that Home Kings aims to provide “professional and competent touch to home maintenance” to Filipino homeowners. Its services include termite control, carpentry and renovation works, move-in cleaning, pest control, and air conditioner maintenance, among others.  

 

“Home Kings wants to educate and professionalize the market by being proactive in doing preventive maintenance in several parts of their homes,” SPMC Vice President for Client Services and Development Jemelle Felize Pastor, the second daughter of Sosa, said in a statement .
