The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Antipolo-based First Pacific Leadership Academy takes a closer look into the millenial mind through a series of executive talks: “20/20 Vision: The Future of the Work Force” and “The Triumph of the Millenials, ” at the Rizal Hall on Nov. 13 and 20, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The sessions will bring together eminent millennials, as well as corporate giants and executives who have taken the steps to harness the creative power of the new generation. For managers, leaders, and teachers, this series aims to answer the most pressing concerns about millennials – how to understand them, how to motivate them, and how to utilize their talents in the work place.

Facilitated by PLDT/Smart corporate communications head Ramon Isberto, 20/20 Vision brings together seven corporate leaders and an innovator who have successfully harnessed and recognized the power of millennials in their organizations. These thought leaders help understand the critical role and participation of the millennial in the modern work force, and share how organizations can better cope and successfully manage the creative energy of this young group.

Atanacio, vice president of Meralco; Anna-Marie Bakker, social entrepreneur  and vice president for operations of Fostering Education & Environment for Development Inc. (FEED); and Bryan Benitez-McClelland, a social entrepreneur and inventor of Bambike, a premium bamboo bicycle line.

For the next session, Triumph of the Millennials, learn what makes the millennials tick and understand how they see the world around them. Ask and receive answers to important questions like “How can we better motivate millennials and direct their energy towards productive goals? In what way do millennials see themselves making a difference? How can we as employers, managers and leaders help millennials realize their potential?”

Sounding off as  voices of this generation are Carlo Ople, multi-awarded, veteran digital marketing executive and the managing partner and director of DM9-Digit ad agency; Ezra Acayan, a renowned photojournalist from Reuters, Anton Del Rosario of the Azkal footbal team; Vic Ejanda, renowned food technologist and expert on molecular gastronomy; Cauayan City Mayor Bernard Dy; and fashion and lifestyle blogger Patricia Prieto.
