Hobe-Bihon takes FEU-NRMF to sudden death

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Hobe Bihon-Cars Unlimited took charge early and dominated Far Eastern U-NRMF the rest of the way to fashion out a 72-57 victory over the weekend and force a rubber match for the DELeague basketball crown at the Marikina Sports Center.

The 2012-13 champions used a running attack in the early going to seize a 22-14 lead after 10 minutes then sustained their form in the next three quarters to foil the Tams’ sweep bid and send the title series into a winner-take-all affair.

They dispute the crown at 8 tonight with the winner also receiving P200,000. The runner-up will get P100,000.

Tickets are pegged at P10. For results, visit www.sports29.com.
