La Salle alumni golf tourney up
MANILA, Philippines - The De La Salle Alumni Association, in partnership with Jubilarian 49ers, will stage the DLSAA Jubilarian 49ers Golf Invitational on Nov. 25 at the Alabang Country Club.
More than 100 players are expected to vie for top honors in Classes A, B, C and Super Senior (70) in the 18-hole tournament presented by Sta. Lucia Realty under the System 36 format.
Organizing committee chair Ed Tirona, with ACC president Archie Lacson, Benjie Uichico, Rhett Ermita and Sally Velasco, said the event also serves as a fund-raiser for the Brother J. Benedict Scholarship Fund.
Sponsored by American Home, Bose, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, OPMC, Suarez & Sons, the event stakes a special prize from China Eastern for hole-in-one feat.
Tournament fee is pegged at P2,800 for non-ACC members and P1,500 for ACC members, inclusive of green fees, giveaways and lunch.
