Baluyot-Canoy tops Shaw golf

MANILA, Philippines - Adones Baluyot and partner Dennis Canoy combined for a pair of 82s for a 164 aggregate as they romped off with the overall championship in the 21st Bill Shaw Golf Classic at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club’s west course recently.

Oliver Gan, the other half of last year’s winning pair, and Justin Limjap strung up rounds of 139 and 142 to grab the low gross honors in the annual member-guest tournament held in honor of Wack Wack’s founder.

Raoul Jorge and partner Richie Santos also made 164 under the PAL scoring system but settled for the Group I title in the four-day event co-presented by Mitsubishi Motors Phils. and Union Motors Corp.
