Cavite lotto player wins P74.7 million jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A lotto player from Cavite won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Lotto drawn on Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced yesterday.

The PCSO said the bettor, who guessed the winning numbers 11-23-05-22-24-03, is richer by a total of P74,759,118.80, minus a 20 percent tax.

The winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Dasmarinas City.

The PCSO said that 129 other bettors, who hit five of the winning numbers, won P24,000. At least 4,687 bettors, who guessed four winning numbers, won P800 each.

Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
