Portraits for compassion
The Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) recently hosted a photo exhibit featuring the 2018 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines (BDWP) at The Gallery in Greenbelt 5, Makati City. Leading the event titled, “Fashionable Senses and Sensibilities” were PCS chairman Antonio Ma. J. Guerrero and indefatigable BDWP event chairperson Angola Consul Helen Ong along with the dedicated selection and organizing committee members Roselle Rebano, Marian Ong, Mabel Abaño, Tanzania Consul Betty Chua, Roy Gonzales, Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa and author, Johnny Litton as adviser. In partnership with the Camera Club of the Philippines led by its president Paul San Pedro and top photographers Rey Ortiz, Patrick Uy, Raul and Miko Montifar, the photo exhibit which has become an annual tradition since 2009, is headlined by this year’s ladies of style and substance spearheaded by style icons Yoli B. Ayson and Darlene Ardeña Go and awardees Joy Jabile-Ejercito, Maru Go, Mandaluyong City representative Queenie Gonzales, Malou Tamayo Martinez, Tim Tam Ong, Merci Poblador Padolina, Bettina Nicole Reyes, Malabon City Vice Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Krisha Almeda-Sia, Mary Carla Christine Reyes-Sia, Jasslyn Joanne Tan, Michelle Copok Tan, Dr. Mary Jane “MJ” Torres, DIWA Partylist Representative Emmeline Aglipay Villar and Faith Valerinne Tan Wee. Also featured are the ever-generous 2018 Ambassadors for Life who continue to show their support to the longest-running charity fashion show in the country which will have its 15th edition on Sept. 20 at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila in Parañaque City.
