Gas Jeans had an exclusive launch of their new Shangri-La Mall store that was, well, a gas.
The new store unveiled Italian jeans that combine relaxed, effortless style with sensual confidence and extraordinary heritage. Founded by Claudio Grotto and still owned and managed by the Grotto family, Gas is handled locally by Black Cat, Inc.
Principals from GAS Far East Ltd. in Hong Kong – Christine Lam and Connie Wu – flew in for the day to enjoy the afternoon with their guests and present the newest addition to their chain of stores. They also took the opportunity to announce that GAS will be opening flagship stores in Hong Kong and Florence in the coming year.

How would you style your casual day outfit for a night ensemble?
I would wear heels! It gives me more confidence since I’m a little girl.

Jeans because they’re a staple. I wear them every day and love the fact that I can dress them up or down depending on where I’m going.

Jeans used to be worn strictly on casual occasions but have become a versatile item you can wear from day to night. You can now dress them up with a jacket, beaded top and heels or even wear them under a dress.

How many pairs of jeans should a fashionista have in his or her closet?
I think it depends on personal use of denim products in your life. I think one can easily have 20 pairs of denim pants, and even consider having denim skirts and jackets and shirts. In fact you can own up to 50 or more items. Denim is fashionable. It’s an iconic product that can be mixed and matched with all different garments. Personally, I think denim products are about quality and not quantity.
