The Pen partners with Avon in crusade vs breast cancer

MANILA, Philippines - Avon, the largest corporate supporter of the breast cancer crusade, has formed an alliance with the Peninsula Manila, for its Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer (KGBC) campaign.

The Peninsula Manila has officially announced its special room packages as a way to help raise funds for the cause.

Avail yourself of The Pen’s Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer promo, which runs until Oct. 31. Guests can get a room at the premier hotel for as low as P5,500. Rates vary during weekdays and weekends, and according to room types, which include superior, deluxe and grand deluxe rooms and premier suites.

Promo rates are inclusive of daily buffet breakfast for two persons and 20-percent food and beverage discount on weekends (until Sept. 27 only for the F&B discount).

The Manila Peninsula sets aside P100 per room to aid the KGBC Fund.

The Peninsula Manila is one of Avon’s partners in its annual “Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer” on Oct. 4 to be held simultaneously in seven locations around the Philippines (Manila, Malolos, Vigan, Legazpi, Iloilo, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro).

To join, simply purchase the limited edition KGBC shirt for only P149, of which P20 will go toward the continued support of the PGH Breast Care Center.
