CWC holds 'Clothes for a Cause' on Nov. 12 to 15
MANILA, Philippines - The Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) will hold “Clothes for a Cause,” CWC’s last fundraising activity for the year, from Nov. 12 to 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight, at Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati City.
The event is held in cooperation with Ayala Land Inc. through Bea Zobel de Ayala, a member of CWC.
Slightly used clothes, bags, belts, and shoes donated by celebrities, famous personalities, CWC members and friends will be sold at very reasonable prices.
Proceeds will go to the disturbed children of Elsie Gaches Village.
A mini bazaar will also be held with several concessionaires selling various products.
CWC president Rose Lazaro with chair Mimi Valerio, and co-chair Terry Tambunting have a committee composed of Baby Gloria, Nenuca Blardony, Shirle Uy, Rose Hugo, Margie Garcia, Tessie Rodrigo, Carol Tagle, Lita Goño, Letty Hahn, Carmina Mantecon, Nonie Basilio, Ane Preysler, Nina Dizon, Sally Maliuanag, Asun Zubiri, Chloe Periquet, Nikko Valerio and Nene Leonor.
