The Swarovski Crystal Society (SCS) recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in the Philippines. Many crystal enthusiasts, some of whom have been members since its inception, gathered at Rustan’s Makati to look at Swarovski’s special edition pieces. Every five years, the SCS honors the timelessness of the crystal by creating Jubilee Editions that commemorate the occasion. The SCS Annual Edition 2017 is called Bear Arcadia, a tribute to the bear mother, a strong and powerful yet caring and protective animal. Members of the SCS were able to enjoy the privilege of celebrating with the brand and purchasing the special edition, exclusively available to them. Seven of their loyal members were also awarded, making the celebration even more memorable. Swarovski is exclusively available at Rustan’s Makati, Shangri-La, Gateway, Alabang, and Cebu.

Friends of the well-loved Solaire matriarch Josie Razon got together to celebrate another wonderful year of Josie’s life. Gathered by the lovely Minerva Tanseco, the guests, in prints and floral motif, were treated to a delightful degustation specially prepared by Solaire’s special events restaurant Waterside Restobar for lunch. Everybody had such a great time bonding over good food that lunch was extended to an afternoon tea.
