The power of design
Since 1992, CWC International has been at the forefront of innovative office furniture and modern interior design. With the rise of Herman Miller in Asia, CWC has successfully matched this expansion and has elevated the Philippine market to be at par with neighboring cities like Singapore and Hong Kong. The Grand Ballroom of Ascott Bonifacio Global City in Taguig was filled with high-end designers and architects as Herman Miller Reach 2016 was held in the Philippines for the first time. Led by CWC International Corporation president and CEO Fred Yuson, the design festival featured some state-of-the-art furniture as well as innovative chairs that utilize technology to cater to every office worker’s needs. The guests not only had the opportunity to look at the latest designs, they were also able to experience the Herman Miller Living Office.
Of magical music
An unforgettable evening awaits the members, friends, and valued guests of the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) when it celebrates its 37th Anniversary Ball on Nov. 17 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. President Rose Lazaro, director-in-charge Yoli Ayson, and co-chairpersons Mabel Abano, Nonie Basilio and Sol Tan-Gue are all hard at work to ensure that the guests and the beneficiaries enjoy the superb musical entertainment prepared for the night. With the hardworking FCCP ladies at the helm, it will surely be an evening of magical music, lively dancing, and warm fellowship. The annual ball is the major fundraising event of the FCCP, which is known for providing scholarships for financially-challenged but extremely deserving young artists to give them the opportunity to pursue their dream of becoming noted artists in the world of performing and visual arts.
