‘Travel in Style’ fashion show at Shangri-La Plaza today
MANILA, Philippines - This year, take cues from summer’s hottest trends for kids and teens as the lifestyle hub Shangri-La Plaza debuts the season’s most coveted looks with its “2013 Kids, Youth and Travel Fashion Show†at the East Atrium of the mall’s new East Wing today at 4:30 p.m.
Dubbed “Travel in Style,†this year’s sartorial showcase presents the best of summer 2013’s wardrobe must-haves and fashionable luggage for travel through top picks from participating brands as styled by Mega magazine fashion editor Patrick Galang.

Divided into five segments, the fashion show unveils key looks for various summer styles. Pacific Ocean features classic options reminiscent of preppy yachting wear, featuring smart causal pieces in cool whites and blues, and simple striped lines.
Tanzania, Africa features a set of safari-style separates making use of animal prints and layered clothing.
Reflecting the mysterious beauty of the city of Tangier, Morocco, this next segment plays with clean cut and crisp layers in light and pastel designs. Meanwhile, the acid bright-colored and neon-printed beach wear of the next selection pays homage to the hip and happening Boracay.
Paris’ trendsetters are seen in the final segment, featuring a fashionable combination of faded hues and attractive floral prints.
