Mission-style villas ready for occupancy

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Maricielo Villas, premier property developer DMCI Homes’ Spanish-inspired community in the south, completes the construction of its last building and is now ready for occupancy.

The first four structures — Sebastian, Segovia, Pontevedra and Madrid — began occupancy efforts late last year, while Almeria was made ready for occupancy in January 2013. The on-time turnover showcases DMCI Homes’ strong reputation of completing projects on time, and providing homes that are not only comfortable, but picturesque as well.

This 18,522-sqm. project, located along history-rich Quirino and Casimiro Avenues in Las Piñas, imbibes the charm of the past with the convenience of the future. The development reflects the rich history of the local district through its general design and architecture.

Maricielo Villas invokes the architecture of old Spanish Missionary communities through its buildings with facades designed with prominent traditional lines, and offering pasilios or breezeways that not only create more open spaces, but also provide cooler ventilation all throughout the community.

And as this is a DMCI Homes project, their signature single-loaded corridors, where homes open to an airy and landscaped atrium, are also present. Completing this fresh atmosphere are pocket gardens and key landscaped areas that add a sense of green and nature to the community.

Aside from architecture, the buyers’ need for safety and convenience is also considered. Security measures are in place to make condo living truly worry-free for all families: electrified perimeter fences, 24-hour security service, CCTV cameras in strategic areas, and roving security personnel.

At the center of the development’s Spanish-inspired architecture are lifestyle amenities that address the needs of its residents. Most notable of all its structures is the clubhouse where various fun activities can be planned.

The clubhouse, which has a total area of almost 1,000 sqm, is seen to be the center of most social gatherings, with function rooms for family affairs or instant reunion with friends. It also has a game area that provides an additional recreational venue for residents.

The interiors have elegant contrasts of neutral walls and dark wood furnishing. The fine lines of traditional Spanish architecture weave through the details of the clubhouse, such as the grand entrance, the staircase, the arcs leading to the hallways, and the ceiling design. An added Spanish touch is the combination of wood with colorful ceramic tiles similar to Machuca tiles of heritage homes.

Aside from the clubhouse, also available are the pools. Those with an active lifestyle can also bike, or brisk-walk at the surrounding and well-landscaped park.

Those who wish to simply de-stress can relax at the lounge area, linear parks, or soak up the sun while lounging at the pool decks. Pocket gardens get the Spanish touch with planters and large, ornate vats that truly add grandeur to the place.

Located in one of Metro Manila’s most historical corners, the surrounding landmarks of Maricielo Villas bode well with the overall feel of the project. It is within the same district where the famous St. Joseph’s Bamboo Organ is located — an interesting aspect of the development.

The project site is approximately 350 meters near the Alabang-Zapote Road, and one kilometer from the C5 Extension Road, making travel to the Makati CBD easy.

The Makati CBD is only 14.9 kms. away or 30 minutes of travel time.  The Alabang CBD, which is a mere 10.3 kms away from the project site, will likewise cause less worries for professionals with only 25 minutes’ travel time.  There are also nearby commercial spots (Alabang Town Center, Festival Mall, and around four SM malls); hospitals, schools, churches, transport terminals, and access to the airports.

Maricielo Villas bears the DMCI Homes quality seal, which represents the company’s commitment to deliver homes that are built to last. The new homes are subject to the proprietary quality management system of DMCI Homes, and come with a two-year warranty.
