SM announces 2nd batch of condo winners in Shop & Win promo

MANILA, Philippines - For Luzviminda Villacastin and Ditas De Leon, fantasy turned into reality when they became the lucky owners of fully furnished condo units in Light Residences (Ortigas) and Sun Residences (Manila), respectively. 

Life changed quickly for the 65-year-old Cebuana catechist and SM City Consolacion regular when her name was chosen from thousands of entries. “I was just in shock,” Luzviminda said. “I never expected to win. I just left it to God’s will... and He responded in a big way!” 

Her winning raffle entry was a bed from The SM Store worth P15,000. The purchase gave Luzviminda 15 coupons, which became 30 coupons when she used her E-Plus Card.

Just a few days before she won, Luzviminda and her husband were talking about how much they wanted a new condo. She never dreamed she would win one, much less a condo in Ortigas. “Now we have a place to stay when we visit Manila,” she said. “I will make it a point to visit all the SM malls when I get there!” 

For Ditas, a 37-year-old fitness enthusiast and mother of three from Quezon City, it's a dream come true. "Every time I went to the gym at SM City North EDSA, I’d pass by the promo booth but I didn’t pay much attention," she said. "I didn’t think much of it because you know it’s one of those one-in-a-million chances that you never really think is going to happen to you.”

Luckily, Ditas gave it a shot and joined the contest after buying P3,000 worth of groceries at SM Hypermarket. Her reaction to the winning news: “Best decision ever!”

Luzviminda and Ditas join Christopher Ryon (Field Residences, Paranaque) and Pamela Ibayon (M Place South Triangle, Quezon City) as winners of the fully furnished condo units SM Supermalls and SMDC are giving away. Christopher’s winning entry was for a bed for the condo he was renting, while Pamela purchased a generator due to the blackout caused by Typhoon Glenda. 

Condo units still up for grabs include Princeton Residences (New Manila), Blue Residences (Katipunan Ave.), Grass Residences (North EDSA), Sea Residences (near MOA), Mezza Residences (Aurora Blvd.), and Jazz Residences (Makati).
