A must website for parents of school-age children

-

MANILA, Philippines - For parents who would like to provide supplemental learning for their kids, Schoolkid.Ph is a highly recommended online resource. A source for review and complementary learning of the Filipino child, Schoolkid.Ph is the only website with an extensive collection of free printable worksheets for preschool to elementary level, on major subjects such as Math, Language, Reading, Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Singapore Math, and Singapore Science.

This innovative project was the brainchild of Roxanne Flores-Aquino, mother to three boys. The website was initially made as a virtual storage for the worksheets that its creator built for her eldest son. She wanted to preserve the worksheet for her other two younger sons who will naturally need these worksheets in the future. She informed other parents and friends about this repository and welcomed them to use the worksheets as well. Soon after, other parents offered to share their worksheets, thus forming a Schoolkid.Ph community.

Schoolkid.Ph is an aid for parents who are too busy and do not have time to make reviewers for their kids and for parents who want to provide their children with additional practice worksheets. It is also used by tutors to help them provide additional reviewers for their students.

Visitors simply have to log in and select the grade level, subject, and topic of the worksheet to print the worksheets. Registration to the website is free.

Grade 2 math worksheets were printed and donated by Schoolkid.Ph, represented by its creator Roxanne Flores-Aquino, to the Lakandula Elementary School.

Since it opened in 2008, the website has expanded and grown to more than 4,000 registered subscribers, garnering five million page hits in the past year. Schoolkid.Ph also maintains a Facebook page, currently with over 900 likes, as venue for interaction among the members of the Schoolkid.Ph community.
