A mini meeting at the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini launch

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Samsung reveals the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, its latest smartphone in the market. The tête-à-tête was held at URBN bar and Kitchen in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig where guests were welcomed to ponder the question, “Does Size Matter?”

An evening filled with discussions on the “big vs. small” subject matter transitioned with host Sam YG posing the question to radio DJs Jason, Logan, Tin Gamboa, Aaron Atayde, Dani Castano, and Karen Bordador.  The first three took on the affirmative, and the latter taking on the opposition.  Guests were treated to an interesting and fun verbal relay as the debate went on discussing topics such as sports and feet sizes!

Though various opinions resounded, the main take away was that no matter what size the object is, what’s important is that it gets the job done.  A perfect illustration is the Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini itself, which albeit its small size, packs a powerful punch and delivers the functions of its “big brother” phone, the Samsung Galaxy SIII.

The evening was capped off by Paolo Del Rosario, Samsung Mobile head of smartphones, who talked about the new smart phone and the exciting partnership it has with Globe.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini will be offered free through Globe’s exclusive customizable plans: Globe My Super Plan 999 which comes with P900 Consumable, 50MB data and two call and text freebies, which you can change monthly. Subscribers may also opt for the unlimited data version through the Globe My Super Plan Unli Surf Combo 999 which comes with Unlimited Data and one call and text freebie, which can change monthly.
