TWG offers a fashionable tea experience at Shangri-La Mall

MANILA, Philippines -TWG Tea opens its fourth tea salon and boutique at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza Mall.  TWG Tea at Shangri-La is the newest addition to the TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques at Greenbelt 5, Resorts World Manila, and Rockwell Power Plant Mall.

With loose tea selections spanning the different continents — from the red lands of Malawi to the volcanic regions of Hawaii, from the hidden tea valleys of China to the exotic plantations of Laos — the TWG Tea collection caters to every discerning taste. The luxurious tea experience begins at the welcoming main entrance, leading to an open store layout that provides a glamorous 360-degree view of the neighboring high-end fashion boutiques. The Tea Salon & Boutique’s interior includes hand-painted artisan tins and TWG Tea’s signature yellow tea tins, artfully displayed in five elegant wood-clad columns, along with two glass display niches that hold over 500 different varieties of teas from 38 countries — each a veritable treasure chest of taste. 

The 46-seat tea salon features an extensive menu of tea-infused salads, sandwiches, main courses, and patisseries, including several new dishes such as the Seaside Salad, featuring a house vinaigrette infused with Love Me Tea, and TWG Tea Mini Burgers, a selection of three distinctive burgers accompanied by a light serving of mixed greens and finished with an 1837 green tea-infused vinaigrette. Among the main courses are the coeur de filet, a roasted filet mignon drizzled with a rich, Polo Club Tea-infused sauce, and the pan-seared sea bass with pumpkin risotto, drizzled with a red chai tea-infused cream. Two new sandwiches are soon to be served — the salmon club and ratatouille grilled sandwich, each accompanied by a salad tossed in tea-infused vinaigrette.

TWG Tea Salon & Boutique is at the mid-level, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, East Wing Expansion, Mandaluyong City Manila, Philippines. Operating hours are Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
