WATCH: Mark Bumgarner on Maymay Entrata as ‘top model’
MANILA, Philippines — Celebrity fashion designer Mark Bumgarner looks forward to dressing up celebrities at the upcoming Star Magic Ball 2018.
In a recent interview with Philstar.com following the launch of his collaboration collection for Filipino clothing retailer Plains & Prints, Mark said that though he does not know yet the stars that he will doll up for the ball, he will definitely participate in it.
After dressing up actress and recording star Maymay Entrata in last year’s ball, he agrees with fans and netizens saying that Maymay has what it takes to become the country’s next top model.
“Her physique is like a model’s so it’s very easy to dress her up… She’s so skinny,” Mark remarked.
He said last year’s ball was a “Cinderella moment” for Maymay, whose red carpet photo at the ball, where she wore a white, sequined Bumgarner creation beside her love team partner Edward Barber, was liked by supermodel and “America’s Top Model” franchise founder Tyra Banks.
Mark shared that it took him and his team two months to create Maymay’s boat-neck gown as it was mostly done by hand.
