MANILA, Philippines - Bazaar season is here once again. And what better way to fill in those shopping bags than through the Assumption Alumnae Association’s (AAA’s) Annual Bazaar on Nov. 13, Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Manila’s Mayuree Ballroom in Makati City.

Dubbed “A Touch of Gold” to celebrate 50 years of AAA, the annual bazaar will feature both new and tried-and-tested vendors including Fundacion Sansó, which will sell arts and crafts, homemade food, houseware, jewelry, design pieces, contemporary fashion and many more.

The Assumption Bazaar boasts a lineup of 123 vendors, each offering unique items perfect for Christmas, according to AAA board president Rose Lopez. Of course, there will be Assumption Tarts as well for that unique touch of nostalgia to be cherished by every true-plaid AC girl!

The AAA, a school-sanctioned association that has Assumption nuns in its board and includes graduates from the Assumption Herran and San Lorenzo Campus, is celebrating its 50th year next year.

The Bazaar aims to benefit the Assumption Mission Schools in Kauswagan in Lanao del Norte; Kibangay in Bukidnon; Barrio Obrero and Passi in Iloilo; Antique, Baguio, Malibay; and San Simon in Pampanga.

Thus, you will be sharing while shopping!

The AAA Annual Bazaar is supported by Starbucks, Metro Pacific Investments Corp., San Miguel Corp. and Hydration Nation.

(For tickets and inquiries, call the AAA office at 894-3561.)
