A match made in heaven

- Johnny Litton -

“Marriage is not a ritual or an end. It is a long, intricate, intimate dance together and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance and your choice of partner.” — Amy Bloom

This love story began way back in 2005 when John Vincent “JV” Garcia and Marie Kristine Margaret “Patchi” Layug met during a retreat. Three years later, they became sweethearts and from that point on, they knew that they had a relationship to last a lifetime. During a trip to Singapore in 2010, JV proposed to Patchi in one of the most unexpected places  the Singapore Flyer.

Recently, JV, the dashing son of the late Edmundo and Rosario Garcia, and Patchi, the loving daughter of Palmy and Nini Layug, finally marked a new milestone in their lives as they exchanged vows at the Santuario de San Jose. Witnessed by their family and close friends, the lovely couple’s wedding showcased a mixture of cherished traditions and modern surprises. The beautiful affair was highlighted by the newlyweds dancing to the tune of Moves Like Jagger that had all the guests surprised and amused.

Congratulations JV and Patchi! May you have a successful marriage and a fruitful life as husband and wife! Cheers!
