MANILA, Philippines — What a spectacular night it was as Viva One staged its first-ever major show, “Vivarkada: The Ultimate Fandom and Grand Concert,” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The event brought together the hottest stars from the platform’s hit digital series, with surprise happenings and exclusive sneak peeks of upcoming projects that were revealed throughout the night.

The evening kicked off with soulful solo and duet numbers from Miia Bella and Kylu, followed by a fiery performance from Viva’s newest P-pop girl group RAYA, which debuted their latest single, Diva Diba.

Not to be outdone was Viva’s very own P-pop boy group GAT, which brought the house down with their high-energy hit Kakaiba, joined by the Vivarkadas for an explosive opening production number.

The excitement soared as the “Univerkadas” from the “University Series” stormed the stage with a playful performance of Kakaibabe. Leading the fun were Heaven Peralejo, Bea Binene, Nicole Omillo, Krissha Viaje and Aubrey Caraan.

Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji.

Meanwhile, heartthrobs Marco Gallo, Gab Lagman, Andre Yllana, Francis Magundayao and Gabby Padilla heated up the crowd with a number that left fans screaming for more.

A standout moment came when Aubrey shone under the spotlight with her solo rendition of How You Feel.

Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene.

But the night wouldn’t be complete without the swoon-worthy performances of Viva One’s hottest love teams. “MarVen” (Marco and Heaven) of “The Rain in España” serenaded the audience with Hanggang Sa Buwan.

Before their performance together, Marco admitted that during rehearsals, the onstage reunion instantly brought back memories with his ex-girlfriend Heaven.

The actor shared that memories from past mall shows together came flooding back.

“Heaven would always leave a smile. All those memories — it doesn’t matter if we don’t end up together, I will cherish that until I get older,” Marco said in an exclusive interview with The STAR.

With a playful tone, he added, “Ako nga rin nag-re-relapse ako. eh… Joke lang.”

Krissha Viaje and Jerome Ponce.

After the sweet “MarVen” number, “KrisshRome,” “HyGab,” “LanceBrey,” “JaiNicole” and “WilBea” each brought their own dose of kilig with surprise kisses to emotional serenades. One of the night’s highlights was Wilbert Ross’ forehead kiss on Bea, which sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Adding to the extravaganza, the cast of “I Love You Since 1892” showcased culture and drama on stage. Heaven stunned with a graceful Cariñosa folk dance fused with the hit Marikit. Joseph Marco and Jerome Ponce followed with a stirring Kundiman serenade to Heaven’s Carmelita.

But one of the night’s most talked-about moments came when Joseph, in character as Leandro, shouted, “Aagawin kita, Carmelita!” It was a line that sent fans into super-kilig mode inside the venue.

Energy, on the other hand, soared as the “Seducing Drake Palma” cast went on stage with Sugar N Spice in cheerleader uniforms, dancing to their debut single, Sugar Sugar, the series’ OST.

And from the crowd, Angela Muji, who plays Alys Perez, made a lively entrance and soon joined Rabin Angeles, Drake Palma himself, along with the rest of the cast. Together with Dylan Menor, the trio hyped the crowd with a high-energy dance to GAT’s version of Ikot-Ikot.

Rabin then slowed things down with his solo of Balang Araw before reuniting with Angela for a sweet duet of a mash-up of Bahala Na and Hanap-Hanap. Their strong chemistry shone throughout, ending with a kiss that drew thunderous cheers from fans.

The spotlight then turned to the Viva One girls as they turned up the heat with a sultry, ballet-bar-inspired performance of Sarah Geronimo’s hit Kilometro, reimagining the classic with a bold twist.

Then, the Viva One boys stormed in with a matrix-inspired set to Alamat’s Maharani. Rocking all-black fits with umbrellas and handkerchiefs, they owned the stage with major swag. Joseph raised the energy even higher when he appeared on stage, going topless midway and sending the coliseum into screams.

After the adrenaline rush, Ashtine Olviga captivated the audience with a heartfelt rendition of Sa Bawat Sandali, with her voice blending with fans who sang along.

Atasha Muhlach followed with a powerful number of the “Bad Genius: The Series” theme song Handa Na Ako, marking one of the most-awaited numbers of the night.

GAT’s Derick even admitted in a STAR interview how much they anticipated it: “When I got to see Atasha’s prod until the recent trainings… it was really nice. As in grabe. My jaw dropped talaga,” he said, with his co-members agreeing.

Atasha was soon joined by her co-stars Jairus Aquino, Gab Lagman and Hyacinth Callado as they wrapped up their segment with Alamat’s Kasmala.

The night was far from over though. The cast of Viva One’s hit series “Ang Mutya ng Section E” brought Araneta to a roar. The moment the viral track Daleng-Dale echoed through the venue, fans erupted with cheers as the cast hit the stage in their signature uniforms, with GAT, Rabin and the Ulupong Boys hyping up the crowd, along with Ashtine and the much-awaited appearance of Andres Muhlach.

Afterwards, Ashtine delivered Sa Panaginip Na Lang, while Andres melted hearts with Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko. The pair then surprised fans with a teaser of their debut film “Minamahal,” premiering on Sept. 24, followed by a duet of its theme song that left the crowd swooning.

The kilig reached a peak when Andres turned to Ashtine and said, “Ash, I truly wanna say that I truly appreciate you. And starting my journey, you know I wouldn’t have wished to (have) done it with anyone else. You are not only a blessing to my life, but a blessing to many others here today. With that being said, thank you.”

Ashtine smiled and replied warmly, “Proud na proud din ako sa’yo, and sobrang happy ko din na ikaw ang kasama ko ngayon dito.”

The exchange brought the audience to roaring cheers, sealing one of the night’s most memorable highlights.

In a STAR interview before the concert, Ashtine shared how her bond with Andres has only grown stronger, even rating it a perfect 10. She recalled how, during rehearsals, Andres was always there to guide her.

“Kapag nalilito ako, gina-guide niya ako. Kasi minsan ang bilis ko talaga malito sa steps tapos siya natatandaan niya, and ayon, gina-guide niya ako,” she said, showing just how much she values his support.

Before the finale, fans were treated to a surprise video montage announcing the upcoming Wattpad screen adaptations, including “My Husband Is a Mafia Boss” by Yanalovesyouu, “Hell University” by Knightinblack, “Dating Alys Perez,” which is “Seducing Drake Palma’s Book 2,” and “Our Yesterday’s Escape,” starring Jairus Aquino and Nicole Omillo.

The rest of 2025 has even more to offer with “I Love You Since 1892” in September, “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow” in October, and both “Project Loki” and “Ang Mutya ng Section E: The Dark Side” in November.

These announcements sent the crowd buzzing with anticipation for Viva One’s upcoming slate.

Finishing off the show, the full cast returned for one last performance of Daleng-Dale. With every artist on stage and the arena erupting in applause, the show closed on a high note, making itself one unforgettable fancon experience. — John Romme Alba
