MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo denied the rumored romance with Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala. 

During her red carpet ramp at the ABS-CBN Ball, Kathryn was asked by Gretchen Fullido if she's now in a relationship. 

“I’m very happy. And yes, still single,” Kathryn answered. 

Romance rumors between Kathryn and Mark surfaced online after they were allegedly seen together. 

Mark followed Kathryn on Instagram but the actress didn't follow the mayor.
