Max & Pancho in numbers

It was in an acting workshop on GMA Network where Max Collins and Pancho Magno met. The Kapuso actor was immediately smitten, and it didn’t take long before he started to court her.

Max’s first impression of Pancho was presko, but he soon proved to be a gentleman and a traditional suitor. Two years later, they became an official couple.

Their first team-up together was in an episode of Magpakailanman titled Sundalong Magiting: The Lt. Jerome Jacuba Story in 2016. Afterwards, they worked on separate projects alongside different artists. Despite this, the two have always believed in growing as individual actors and respecting each other’s craft.

Just over two years in their marriage, Pancho and Max have learned a lot in their relationship, discovered new things about each other and shared a lot of milestones that are worth celebrating.

Indeed, both have portrayed multiple roles on the small and big screens, but Max and Pancho are yet to play the most significant roles that would completely change their lives — parenting. Before 2019 bid goodbye, the Kapuso couple broke the news on their respective Instagram accounts of a new life on the way.

Here, the proud parents-to-be candidly talk about what they usually do on their dates, share their future plans and marvel about exciting times ahead together:

What’s the one thing you look forward to in 2020?

Max: Our baby. It’s due end of June to July 12. That’s what we’re excited about.

What are two places you want to visit this year?

Max: Sydney, because we’re going to Melbourne in a few months. We’re thinking of visiting Sydney.

Pancho: And Japan.

Max: We’re going back to Japan, we love Japan. We just want to visit it again.

For Pancho, what are three things you discovered about Max after getting married?

Pancho: She wakes up very early, she studies her script a lot, she’s very OC with her lines, and she bakes. Magaling siyang mag-bake.

For Max, what are four thoughts that entered your mind when you found out you were pregnant?

Max: It’s not about me anymore, hindi ako makakapag-travel, anong name ang ibibigay namin sa kanya, and gusto ko ng boy!

Who are the first five people you shared your pregnancy with?

Max: Our family members.

Pancho: My mom, her mom, her brother, my sister and my brother.

What are six of your favorite activities to do or dates to go on?

Max: Netflix and to just chill, Samgyupsal because we love Korean, watch movies sa cinema, wine and cheese night, the gym, go to the buffet, and everything food-related. We just love food. Anything food and movies!

What are seven wishes you have for 2020? 

Max: A healthy baby.

Pancho: A jacuzzi! We have a rooftop kasi.

Max: We hope our kitchen gets fixed because we’re having it renovated now. We also want to be active sa YouTube because we have a YouTube channel, Casa Magno. We just have to really work on it. Also, to travel more habang wala pang baby.

Pancho: Spend more time with the baby because of our work.

Max: Yeah, be hands-on with our child.

Pancho: And to have a very loving household, not only us pati ‘yung mga kasama namin sa house. The baby’s coming so gusto namin ‘yung environment niya magiging healthy, loving and mamahalin siya ng mga kasama namin sa house kasi, most of the time, we’re working. Isa pa sa mga wish ‘yung magkaroon kami ng time. Basically, ako ‘yung mag-wo-work, gusto ko magkaroon si Max ng more time to spend with the baby.

As they bask in joy and anticipation for what is to come, Max and Pancho are not taking a break from acting since Max has a special role in the newest GMA Telebabad series Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday, while Pancho is gearing up for his upcoming show with Marian Rivera and Gabby Concepcion titled First Yaya.
